Fish are not exactly visionaries of the aquatic world. They’re more like the Mr. Magoos of the deep blue sea.
They have eyes, yes, but a braided fishing line is not exactly a neon sign flashing “Danger!” In truth, the visibility of your braided fishing line relies more on the clarity of the water and the light conditions.
Bass can see lots of things in the water, and if you are using a braided line, they can see it. They can also see any shadows that the line might cast as well which might leave them less likely to bite your bait. Since braided line is made up of several strands, it is not going to be translucent and will definitely be visible in the water to fish.
