Top 10 RV Parks in Key Largo, FL
I’ll list 10 of the best sites I found and discuss the basic camping experience you’ll gain while visiting each one.
1. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park
An affordable yet exciting campsite, the state park is an ideal place to visit in a small motorhome. The parking space is short but wide, with a well-packed gravel base. You’ll have zero signal issues and can easily communicate with others while on vacation.
Even though the state park is busy, you won’t have to face any water-related issues and can use the clean showers and restrooms without any worries.
There are also several recreational activities to engage in. If you’re looking for beaches, swimming kayak rentals, snorkel tours, and glass-bottom boat trips all in one place, then this is the ideal pick for you.
The picnic table sites might be a little narrow and packed, but overall, the state facility provides a quality summertime experience for a very reasonable price.
2. Key Largo Kampgrounds and Marina
Moving to a privately owned and rented facility, this park is your go-to site if you’re a fishing or boating lover. There are permanent Tiki hut structures built to park your boats, and you can always go into the sea to enjoy the waves or grab a healthy catch.
The Wi-Fi signals are good, and although there are some trailers in the area, you’ll get a spacious site for your vehicle. The restrooms and showers are well-maintained, and the staff is helpful and friendly.
The waterfront location makes it ideal for vacations, and the small beach area is an exotic place to hang out. The management also offers various activities such as a potluck, bingo, shuffleboard, and pizza nights.
I love this park. However, make sure you activate your GPS service on the way, as there are no signboards on the highway to indicate the route to the site.
3. Keys Palms Luxury RV Resort
You’re in luck if you can book a space in one of the best resorts on the island. Key Palms offers a variety of parking spaces, the best of which are located right on the waterfront.
The pull-in sites are spacious and are separated by long privacy wedges. You can get a picnic table to enjoy the exhilarating view with your travel companions every evening.
The pool is a gorgeous attraction, and the sunset viewpoint is a site you’ll cherish visiting your entire life. The umbrellas and loungers add to the aesthetic view.
The Tiki Canal on the waterfront has enough space to park your boat and enjoy the wavy ride now and then. The strong phone connections and amiable working staff make the Luxury resort my favorite camping site.
4. Riptide RV Resort & Marina
I included Riptide on this list due to its exotic location. The park is an ideal place to pause your life and escape all the hustle for some time.
The sites provided are wide enough to park your vehicle comfortably. Although the road at the entrance is very narrow, you can discuss your vehicle size with the resort management beforehand, and they’ll sort the issue out.
I love that this park sits right on Florida Bay, and the sunset view is worth checking out. There is also a boat ramp, shuffleboard, and a pavilion on the waterfront, which further enhances the beauty of the site.
A stable wifi connection and moderate restrooms make the Riptide one of the best resorts available at this price.

Located on 325 Calusa Street, this campground is another top-notch camping site this season. Don’t worry about space, as you get a big pull-through rig to park your vehicle in. There is also enough space to fit a large picnic table for everyday use.
The restrooms are clean, and the showers have hot and cold water. The Wifi signals are also pretty strong and help you stay connected at all times.
