Nevada’s most famous attraction may be the city of Las Vegas, but this state has many more interesting things to show and tell. Its history is particularly rich – Nevada achieved statehood during the Civil War, due to which it is known as the Battle Born State.

Where To Rent An RV In Nevada?

The state of Nevada can’t boast the highest number of RV rental locations in the US, but what it can boast is the pretty uniform distribution of dealerships throughout its territory.

If you are making a stop in Nevada’s capital Carson City or the state’s gem Las Vegas, then you will have plenty of rental locations to choose from.

You can find rental options in other areas of the state as well – in particular, in its northern towns and cities. With that in mind, it’s pretty easy to find an RV in Nevada no matter where you are.

While you probably won’t need to resort to online rental platforms, also remember that you could always rent an RV from platforms like RVshare or Outdoorsy. These can be great when looking for an RV with very specific features unavailable at RV dealerships.

RV Campgrounds & State Parks In Nevada

To enjoy the urban and natural riches of Nevada, you may stay at such RV campgrounds and parks as:

  • Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort.
  • Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort.
  • Ely KOA.
  • Esmeralda Market RV Park.
  • Iron Horse RV Resort.
  • Valley of Fire State Park.
  • Great Basin National Park.
  • New Frontier RV Park.
  • Laughlin/Avi Casino KOA.
  • Cathedral Gorge State Park.

Popular Tourist Attractions In Nevada

One of the most visited sites in Nevada (and also the entire US) is the Hoover Dam, a true marvel of engineering. A tour through the dam will teach you everything about the history and technology of this monumental structure.

Of course, we also have the Las Vegas Strip, a stretch known all over the world for its resort hotels and casinos. You may not necessarily visit the casinos, but taking a few photos against the scenic cityscape is a must.

Events In Nevada

The Burning Man event held in Block Rock Desert in late August-early September is perhaps the most spectacular festival in Nevada. Dedicated to radical art and self-expression, this one-week event encourages participants to express themselves through a variety of forms of art.

If you are a NASCAR fan, then be sure to check out a race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Aside from that, you may also take part in tailgate parties at shorter racing venues.
